Pamela Hadley

Pamela Hadley is a time-based light artist whose installations seek to engage people in a direct relationship with themselves and the world. Hadley’s work has been widely exhibited around the U.S. and in the Republic of Korea. They have participated in artist residencies as artist-in-residence and review panel member. Hadley is based in Portland, OR where they are a member of Carnation Contemorary Art Gallery, WAVE Collective, and Borderline Salon.

In addition to their studio practice, Hadley works as a product designer of commemorative and legal tender notes. They are currently developing public programming to engage members of the twelve-step recovery community in cultural discourse and community care. Hadley earned an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from the Corcoran College of Art and Design.
